The institute has been established in 1979 with a sanction capacity of 160 seats including 10 trades at sector-15, Gandhinagar. The institute has been built in 4 acres land in 1982. Institute has trained trainees since last 24 years. The institute has an Administrative block, a capacious workshop and a hostel in 1537 Sq.mt. areas.

Daily approximately 2000 students get training in 31 different trades under N.C.V.T. and G.C.V.T. pattern. Trainees have choice of different three shifts. Working hours of the institute starts from morning 7:30 am to 9:00 pm. Well-trained faculties, facilities like hostel, library and audio-visual room are available in the institute.

The Institute aims not only passing Trainees but also men and women become capable of responding to life's challenge with encourage. This we hope to achieve through personal guides, hard work and responsibility and Social awareness.
